Dr Muntuwenkosi Chili has over 14 years working in the Higher Education from three institutions in South Africa. My academic career started in 2006 at the University of Zululand as a Chemistry Lecturer and later Senior lecturer. I hold a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Zululand.I have further developed myself by obtaining a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, Management and Development Programme, Leadership Development Program and Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education for Academic Developers from various Universities in South Africa.

Dr Muntuwenkosi Chili
In June 2013 to May 2021, I worked at Mangosuthu University of Technology as deputy director / senior researcher in the Teaching and Learning Development Centre. I’m currently the Executive Director for the Centre of Academic Development at Vaal University of Technology. My passion has always been around data driven interventions to student and staff development with an end goal of student success.
