SPEAKER BIO

Ms Anisa Khan

Anisa Khan is Director for Academic Services within the Division for Internationalisation at the University of Johannesburg. She is responsible for partnership development, academic support for internationalization, the development of joint degrees and short learning programmes. She has worked in various roles across the school and post-school, higher education sector and in the NGO sector.  She is an experienced programme manager, environmental educator, teacher trainer, communications and partnerships manager.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Environmental Science Degree from the University of KwaZulu Natal (UKZN), a Higher Diploma in Education (UKZN) and a Masters Degree in Education from Rhodes University. She was previously the Higher Education and Newton Fund Programme Manager for the British Council in South Africa prior to moving to Stellenbosch University where she held the position of Manager for Global Partnerships and Internationalisation Support.
